Is it really May already?

Time sure goes by fast by when you are having fun and time is definitely going by fast for us. This year has been very enjoyable. The dreaded end-of-course exam is finally completed and I feel good about my students overall. We have 5 weeks of school left and I still have a lot planned for the students. We will begin this period talking about how math is used in the real world. I will have some guest speakers and I am also making the students complete a project where they research how math is used in the career field of their choice. This project will be due on Friday, May 7th. We will then do a Geometry Unit which will take up the next two weeks of class time. I want for my students to have a fundamental understanding of Geometry so that they can be successful in there next year. For the homework, I will give them 8 book assignments that will be due around Friday, May 21st. After that, we will review and take the semester test. Here is a breakdown of the next three weeks (which will definitely change):
